To Joan, Michael, Meghan, John and family, I am so sorry for the loss of Kate (or `Katie´ as I knew her when I babysat at the circle). What a bright and inspirational woman. Small slices of her writing on FB were engaging to read; I can only imagine how insightful her journalistic endeavors were - especially now seeing what her impressive educational background was. Her caring, bright personality and smile will be missed in this world. May she be resting in peace with her father and grandparents.

My sincere condolenses to the Norton family. I've known Kate for most of my life and while I hadn't seen or talked to her since high school, fortunately we were able to connect through FB in the mid 2000's and then again this year. I was planning on visiting her in London when I will be there this September & October so I am very sad that that won't be happening. It was always a joy talking to Kate with her positive attitude and great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed.

Kate, you were such a lovely, kind, delicate soul, always putting others before yourself. And so passionate about music! I´ll never forget your telling me how you decided to learn German because you loved The Sound of Music May your spirit soar wherever you are now, I will often think of you with love.

So sorry to hear the sad news. Although we never met we were cousins. I talked with your Dad years ago while investigating our family trees. He was a fine man and I see you were a fine woman. My sincere condolences to the Norton family.

Your fortitude and strength, in the face of all the challenges you faced, was remarkable. It holds a lesson for all your family and friends, dear Kate. That no matter what cards fate deals you, it is possible to always have enormous love and empathy for others, to always forgive and never judge even the harshest of actions, to show up brave and with a hearty laugh and to always be there for everyone who needs you. May you be smiling and laughing in a better place. And be surrounded by love. Miss you deeply.
