For some reason I came upon the Forte name and this popped up. Bonnie, Pattie he was your brother. Never easy. I do remember mike baked a guitar shaped cake for me and was late picking it up. It ended on my windshield. Never the same after that.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mike. We worked together at Hegadorns and became real good friends. Even though we lost touch I will always remember the great friendship we had. My heart goes out to all of you.

Mike and I worked together in Fairport. He was such a nice man. The students really liked him. He often worked in the gym area where there was always activity and on going interruptions. Mike enjoyed having people around and the opportunity where each day was a little different with all of the different uses of the gym. Every time I came in contact with Mike, he had a smile and kind word about people. He really was proud of his work at the school and the bakery.
I remember when we had building construction and Mike's colleagues set up a dummy construction worker sleeping in the library. At first Mike was not happy about the worker sleeping on the job, then more creeped out when the worker was there for hours. That was a joke we all laughed about with him for years.
Mike was one of our very best. He loved people, his work and was always ready to help wherever he was needed most. God bless him and his family.

Bonnie and Patty (and family), I am truly sorry to read today about the passing of Uncle Mike. Although I didn't know him well, I remember all the great stories Bonnie told about him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
