Michael Whisker Obituary
West Henrietta - Passed away on June 15, 2018 at age 61. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond & Betty Whisker. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Lisa Palamitia Whisker; children, Nicholas Whisker, Gia (Alexander Proukou) Whisker; sisters, Cheryl (Ted) Barraco, Sharon Schaller; mother-in-law, Joanne Widzinski; brother-in-law, Joe (Tammy) Palamitia; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 18th from 3-7 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Michael's Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 19th at 9AM in Saint Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield Street, East Rochester. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New 2U Rescue, 1857 Dewey Avenue, Box 15496, Rochester, NY 14615 or FLDRN (for organ transplant), 30 Corporate Woods, # 220, Rochester, NY 14623. Hey Mike, I'm still speechless on hearing of your death. I know that you, Lisa, Nike & Gia went through more then one should, but I know that you're out of pain.
While you were here, you made Lisa (my best friend) the happiest she could ever be. Thank You.....
For all that ever knew you, our hearts will always have that emptiness because you're physically gone. You "will always be with us in spirit.

Mike epitomized the parable of the Good Samaritan. He was a generous and wonderful neighbor who over the 30 years of living next door helped me out on numerous occasions, all on his own initiative! I would arrive home to find that he had removed debris from the yard, or had returned trash containers to their spots or had taken care of a number of other things to help me out! He was thoughtful, generous and kind; and he was the head of a beautiful family that my family and I came to love and treasure! May he rest in eternal peace and may his family be comforted by the memories he left behind until they are reunited again!
