Nancy Sampson Obituary
Farmington: June 24, 2016, at age 68. She is survived by two sons, James (Dimitra) Sampson and Matthew Sampson (Star Zuniga); six grandchildren; partner, Charles Bishop; father of her children, James Sampson (Linda Montesano); two sisters, Mary Sue (Ed) Anderson and Ellen Schuyler; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 pm at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, 10 am at St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 160 Allens Creek Rd., Bldg. 160, Rochester, NY 14618, or the Humane Society of Greater Rochester at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.

Reading this makes me sad. I was the Sampson's babysitter back in the 70's for Jimmer and Matt when they lived next door to my family on Ontario St. in Canandaigua. I always remember Nancy being a fun person. May she RIP ...

The death of a loved one is so devastating and not always easy to get through alone. I found Phillipians 4:6-7 helps because we're encouraged to turn to God in prayer and He will give you peace and understanding as you endure this difficult time.
