Peter Stone Obituary
Williamson: Peter Jon Stone of Williamson, New York and Spring Hill, FL, died on August 15, 2013, after a heart attack. Born in Rochester, New York on November 8, 1938, to Gordon and Ruth Stone. He was a graduate of Spencerport High School.
Jon is survived by his wife, Sandy, his daughter Shelly Stone (Rich Cavagnolo) and Sandy's children Pamela Murphy, Richard Hack (Eleanor Hack) Marcia Henning (James Henning), Laurie Polle (Ed Polle). He had fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Donna Amoroso (Tom Amoroso) and JoAnne Stone and brother Douglas Stone (Sandy Stone).
Jon was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed his work around town as a carpenter, his role as senior member of the Bible Baptist Church of Sodus and his friends both at home and in Florida. He enjoyed golf and helping others.
Calling hours will be at 2:00 PM and the service at 4:00 PM on Aug. 20, 2013, at the Bible Baptist Church of Sodus. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Assoc. or Mercy Ships. Arrangements: Young Funeral Home

What a testimony for Jesus! Sandy and Jon were one of the first to welcome us into church. It was a true privilege to go to South Africa with them both. Living a life of faith and compassion for their fellow man. Thanks for sharing him.....
