Pittsford - January 7, 2019. Predeceased by wife, Ann. Survived by children, Nancy (George) Wheatley, Richard W. Brimmer, Amy Maher, Daniel Brimmer; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Bonnie Brimmer; nieces and nephews.
Calling hours, Friday 3-6 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home (Egypt location), 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Road, Fairport. Funeral Mass, Saturday 9 AM at St. Louis Church, Pittsford. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Diabetes Association.

My name is Jeff Danielson, I to saw Mr. Brimmer almost every day by his wife's grave. I'm only here in the summer months, and I walk around White Haven almost every day, and as I walk, I also pick up trash as I see on the ground and dispose of it. Last he took notice of this and as I walked passed his car he was sitting in (I think it was such a hot day, he just couldn't bring his wheely out and bare the baking sun) he rolled his window down and thanked and complimented me on how nice it was to always see the cemetery so clean. I thanked him and in turn I asked him about his wife, and how long has it been. I then told him how inspired I was by him, and his devotion to his wife. Ever since that day we either spoke, or just waved and smiled at each other.
Today was my first day back walking at White Haven and I saw no car. I looked down towards his wife's grave and I saw a little yellow flag. So I walked down there and I saw the open grave for the remains of cremation.
I said a prayer for him, and told him he's in good hands now, and I'm glad he is with his wife once again.
I'm sorry for your loss. What little I knew of him, he seemed like a wonderful man!!!!!

My name is Geri Foley, Pittsford, N.Y. I watched Mr Brimmer faithfully go to his wife's grave all summer, & read, or just be vigilant at her grave. He must have been a wonderful man, I will miss seeing him , May he Rest In Peace w his wife he loved so much.
