Robert McFadden Obituary
Fairport - Bob died on March 25th after a short stay in the hospital. He was a Rochester native, born in 1930 to Archie and Lyla McFadden. He was a devoted husband to Margrett for 64 years, and father to Daniel (deceased), Tim (Manos), Sarah, and grandfather to Matthew, and great grandfather to Jayden, Aubrella, Jordan, Oceana He loved his sister, Elizabeth, her children and grandchildren, Peter (Carol), Susan (Paul), Karen (Shawn) Gregory, Mollie, Devon, Meaghan, and his sister Nancy, her children and grandchildren Bonnie (Steve), Kathy and Betsy, Daniel, Shira, Marisa, Riley and Ari. Bob loved and was loved by special friend Etta Eskridge, and many other nieces and close family friends.
Bob graduated from the University of Rochester in 1952 and took his skills as an engineer to Singer Education Division, Qualitrol and Eastman Kodak Company. He served honorably as an officer in the USNavy and sailed many years after that for pleasure. He spent nineteen years as a trustee for Continuing Developmental Services, also teaching art classes to CDS clients. He was a painter, skilled wood worker, and had an eagle's eye while enjoying his lifelong passion of traveling the world watching birds. He was a strong advocate for animals.
There will be a service of remembrance in May. If desired, please send gifts to CDS Monarch, 860 Hard Road, Webster, NY 14480.

Sorry to hear about Bob. I enjoyed working with this courteous, friendly and humble man about 20 years ago at Kodak Elmgrove. On a business trip together to Switzerland I could see that Bob enjoyed walking in the woods at the Planet Trail on Uetliberg hill, on the outskirts of Zürich. Art Nielsen, Pittsford

Bob McFadden was one of the Supervisors (Quality Control) I worked for at Singer Education in Pittsford, NY. Bob McFadden was highly respected by all of his employees. My sincere sympathy to his family.
