Webster: Wed., Oct. 16, 2013, age 88. Predeceased by his beloved son, Edward; beloved daughter, Mary Gossin. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Patricia; devoted daughters, Kathryn (William) Woodard, Joan (Thomas ) Batten; devoted sons, Robert (Mary), Thomas, John, Esq. (Nina, Esq.), Dr. Richard (AnneMarie), James (Lori), Martin (Traci), Dr. Michael (Melinda), David, Esq. (Patricia); son-in-law, William Gossin; 28 cherished grandchildren, Bryan and Angelica Woodard, Timothy (Stacy) MacTurk, Jillian (Charles) Evans, Sean (Dr., Sarah), Sheila and Siobhan Menz, Beau and Natalie Batten, Meredith, Peter, Michael, George and Martin Menz, Kate, Adam, Ryan, Aubrey Menz, Alex and Kyle Menz, Zachary, Noah, Jacob, Madeleine Menz, Sarah and Max Menz, Frank and Audrey Menz; 7 beloved great-granchildren, Grace, Brenna and Harper MacTurk, Mary and Ethan Evans, Olivia and Brendan Menz; sisters, Mary Simmons, Betty Kruppenbacher; brothers, Frank (Georgianne), Gerald (Elsie); sister-in-law, Mary Ellen (Henry) Kane; many beloved nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Lifetime Care nurse Suzanne McLean-Halberstadt and nurse's aide, Deb Webb.
Friends may call Friday, Oct. 18, 4-8 PM at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Funeral Services, Saturday, 10:30 AM, at Spiritus Christi Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh St., Rochester, NY 14614. Interment Webster Rural Cemetery following service. In lieu of flowers donations in Robert's memory may be directed to Spiritus Christi Church or Cobblestone Arts Center, 1622 State Rt. 332, Farmington, NY 14425.
