Palmyra/Newak: Robert M. Patchett, 86 of Palmyra died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Friends may call Monday 5-7 at Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home, 103 Maple Ct., Newark. Funeral Services, Tuesday 12noon at Park Presbyterian Church, Newark. Burial in East Palmyra Cemetery. Memorials to Humane Society of Wayne County, Lyons.
Bob was born in Marion May 22, 1925 son of Albert & Edna Malcolm Patchett. He worked in construction for Local 3 in Rochester, with the Bricklayers & Plasters for over 40yrs. He served in the Army in the Pacific in WWII. He was a member of the American Legion of Newark & Park Presbyterian Church of Newark.
Survived by his wife of 64yrs, Caroline Richards Patchett; 2 sons, Richard (Maryke) of Syracuse, Martin (Elaine) of Endwell, NY; daughter, Christine Bailey of Cape-May-Court-House, NJ; 6 grandchildren, Susanna, Elizabeth, Katharine, Joanna, Michael, Brittany; 4 great-grandchildren, Thomas, Erica, Benjamin, Henry; 1 niece, several nephews.
