Roger Moon Obituary
Ontario: Nov. 21, 2016 at age 53. Pre-deceased by his father, William M. Moon; father-in-law, Dave E. Byington. Beloved husband to Dawn, loving father to Jason and Tonya (Ricky) Moon. Mother, June E. Moon; Mother-in-law, Sue Byington; Loving brother to Richard (Debra & children), Kathleen and Rodney Moon; brother-in-law to Dave Byington. Uncle to Keith, Jessica, James, Brandon, Tyler and Josip Moon. Uncle to a great-nephew and great-niece. His kindness, unselfishness and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
His family will celebrate his life on Friday, 12/2/16 at 11 am at Cross Creek Community Church, 3700 R. 31, Palmyra, NY 14522. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd, Rochester, NY 14617.

I remember Roger being a friend to everyone when we both attended 34 School in Rochester. I moved to Charlotte in 1970 and was suprised to meet Roger again about nine years later when his father came up there to work to save a Boy Scout troop and brought him along. He was still the same Roger, and his father helped me advance in the short time I remained in the troop. So sad to learn of Roger's passing. His father's concern for us kids and his service for scouting has also remained with me. My prayers are with his family.

Dawn & family , I am so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. I will always keep the memories of his smile & his little stunts that he always pulled on me when I stopped at the shop to pick up boxes for my move. He was such a caring man liked by all. My deepest condolences, Roger was a good man. Its been several years since we spoke, but he was always a good friend to me, enjoyed seeing him in church at Redeemer.

Even though Roger has left us I see a star in the sky that is him watching over all those who loved him. This is my way of coping with the loss of someone I loved. His star is bright with a big smile because he was never without one! He could always brighten up any room he was in since he was a little boy and I came into his life by marrying Uncle Bob. Made me laugh all the time, that guy! He even let me know if I didn't invite him somewhere!! We love you Roger, God Bless you, you will be missed greatly missed.
