Russell Ricotta Obituary
Fairport: Died suddenly on May 26, 2015, at age 64. Predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Josephine (DiStefano) Ricotta. Survived by his former spouse Penny Schroeder, son Christopher (Olga), daughter Heather Cohen (Jacob Alaniz), 6 grandchildren, brother Rick (Karen), sister Dolores DeMarco, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday, June 6th at 11 am at Covenant Life Fellowship, 1574 Hennessey Rd., Ontario, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The American Heart Association.

We were friends the first time we met way back in 1961. We did so much together over the years (practically everything). We sort of lost touch for a little while but our friendship remained strong and in tact. You will be greatly missed and thought of often. Rest in Peace my little buddy and life long friend.

Russ was the sweetest guy ever. You will be missed by all of us for eternity. I'm sorry I didn't try to keep in touch more. I will be forever sorry for that. I hope you are in a better place now and your Mom is not talking your ear off again!
