Samuel DeNoto Obituary
Wolcott: Unexpectedly, on Tuesday August 25th at age 43. Sam is survived by his wife Leeann; his parents Charles and Ida DeNoto; brothers and sisters Chuck (Debbie) DeNoto, Roxanne (Tom) Wetherby, Frank (Susan) DeNoto, Jacquie (Gary) Countryman; mother-in-law Lois Preble; aunt, nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Visitation will not be observed. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 11 a.m. from St. Mary Magdalene Church, Washington Street, Wolcott. The DeNoto family has requested the courtesy of no floral offerings, and that contributions in memory of Sam be directed to the ALS Association, the Wolcott Fire Department, or to the Wolcott Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps. It seems so sad that yet again we must deal with such inexplicable loss. Having been there many years ago, I deeply feel your pain. Living in a small community such as ours is a wonderful blessing. I have fond memories of working at Pier One with Sam when I was young. I was a bus girl and lived right around the corner. Every memory that I have of Sam includes his beautiful smile! He was always kind and fun! May he rest in peace and may God comfort you all during this sad and difficult time!

My Heart breaks, Another of my childhood friends taken too soon. I spent so much time at the Denoto home growing up. I love you all very much in a special way. You were a huge part of my childhood and teen years. I wish all of you nothing but good as you deal with such a tragedy.
Personally I will always remember Sammy as a 7 year old stepping on his pant legs as we all played outside the house.
