Sarah Ianni Obituary
(nee Valenitno)
Greece: August 6, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Victor H. Ianni; dear mother of David (Lany) Ianni of Pittsford, NY; beloved grandmother of Lara and Sara Lynn; sister of Jennie (John) Scavulli, Anna Marie (late John) Whitebread, and Theresa (late Alfred) Filippelli; also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Sarah was a member of "Work of Our Hands" program at Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford. Her family is grateful to the staff at The Cottages at Unity for the care shown during her stay.
No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to assemble at church for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 12 Noon at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, NY. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Association, PO Box 1918 Niagara University, NY 14109 or Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity, 780 Ridge Rd. Lackawanna, NY 14218. Dave and family, I am so very sorry for your. Loss. Sarah was such a wonderful and sweet lady.. We shared many visits, just talking about you all, her treasured rings, bracelets and her nails. I so cherished our talks and time at The TCC, and also at the cottages.... I will miss her sweet smile when I would come to visit... Bless you all.
