Thomas Gompf Obituary
Penfield: January 6, 2016 at age 90. Predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years Elaine. He is survived by his son Robert E. (Leslie R.); 2 grandchildren, William "Liam"& Peter; sister, Betty Nordwall; special friend and caregiver Sarah Callahan and family. He retired from Eastman Kodak with over 10 patents to his name. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Hawthorne at St. John's Meadows, Visiting Nurse Service Hospice as well as Touching Hearts at Home.
Please join the family to share memories on SATURDAY from 10-10:30 AM at All Season's Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Rd., Pittsford, 14534) where his Funeral Service will be held at 10:30. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park. Refreshments will be served in the Gathering Room following Thomas' service. Please consider honoring Thomas with a donation to the Dining and Caring Center at Asbury First United Methodist Church (1050 East Ave., 14607). Online Condolences welcomed at:

Deepest sympathy to family and friends. Rest in peace Dr.Gompf. Although I only knew you during your time at Hawthorne, it was a blessing to me. A true gentleman that is certainly surrounded by angels in heaven!

So sorry for your loss. Mr. Gompf used to stop for a quick chat on his many walks around the neighborhood. He will be missed.
