Rochester: In loving memory of Tom, only son of the late Howard and Kathleen (Dawson) Green. Tom was born in Rochester, New York on Tuesday April 22, 1952. His early years were spent in Rochester, where he graduated from East High School. He developed a keen interest in photography, spent many hours pursuing this interest, and many more hours developing the photos he took in his own dark room. In late September 1975, after performing his last East Coast photography job - his sister Margaret's wedding - he and some friends drove to California, in search of new adventure. Tom loved the ocean, the beach, and the mountains. He married the late Laura Zielinski, but they subsequently divorced, and did not have any children. After 34 years on the West Coast, Tom returned to Syracuse, New York in 2009. He returned to his hometown of Rochester, New York in 2010, where he passed away Thursday March 16, 2017.

Tom is survived by his sisters Elizabeth Green of Chicago IL and Margaret Lewis (Blake) of Carleton Place ON; brother-in-law Greg Damon of Syracuse NY; nieces Hillary Resti (Joseph) of Syracuse NY, Whitney Lewis of Carleton Place ON, and Jillian Lewis of Ottawa ON; nephews Eric Damon of Syracuse NY and Philip Lewis of Toronto ON; great niece Eloise Resti; and great nephew Andrew Resti. He was predeceased by his sister Audrey Damon in 2016.

Tom has been cremated and his ashes will be scattered in Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester. In lieu of a memorial service, friends are invited to stop at the Blossom Road Pub, 196 N. Winton Road, Rochester New York, Saturday April 22, 2017, from 2-5 pm. Come share your memories and raise a glass in his honour.
