Thomas Lester Obituary
Gates - Saturday, January 5, 2019, at age 67. Predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Helen Lester; twin brother, Timothy Lester; sister-in-law, Jean Lester. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joan (Streb) Lester; daughters, Jennifer (Josh) Escudero, Jessica (Zachary) Stivers; grandchildren, Justin, Jacob and Jane; brother, James Lester; sister, Judith Laba; sister-in-law, Helen Lester; many other relatives and friends.
Tom was a retiree of Kodak and a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His laughter and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call THURSDAY from 3-6PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd., Gates. On Friday, January 11, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in Holy Ghost Church. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Wilmot Cancer Center, 300 E. River Rd., PO Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627-8996 in his memory.

In my youth I knew Tom was a super funny guy who everyone liked! As an adult I knew Tom to be a super funny guy who everyone liked, with a heart of gold, mischievous smile, and wisdom that can never be questioned!

Joanie, no words can express the sorrow that Bev and I are feeling at this time. Even though we haven't seen each other in years, Tom, Tim, you and Helen have been in out thoughts while reminiscing of the fun we all shared. Wonderful memories, never to be forgotten. Sending love, and prayers.
