Uncle Tom was a big part of my life, present for every special event in my life. He was there for piano recitals, graduations and even in the waiting room when his great-niece was born. Whenever I was going on vacation and on my way to the airport, I had to stop at his car dealership so he could count out, one at a time, 100, crisp, $1 bills.
I saw Uncle Tom almost every weekend of my childhood as our families had Sunday dinners together.
Generous to a fault, he treated us to horseback riding lessons, dinners, and box seats at the races.
After my family and I had moved away, he was always at the airport to greet us when we returned and had a car for us to use while we were visiting.
Most recently, he spent a lot of time with my mom, brightening up her day and reminiscing about their childhood.
I will never forget Uncle Tom. He was fun, told the same silly, clean jokes over and over and always made people feel special. He will be dearly missed.
With love,
Patty

We were so sad to hear of Toms passing! I loved being around him and laughing at his jokes. He was charming, sweet, handsome and kind.
He always made me feel special when I was in his company. I use to call him Tony Danza because he reminded me of and older Tony. He got a big kick out of that.
You will be missed, especially by Marty. He loved & respected you so much. You were like a second father to him. He loved playing Pinochle with you and has such warm memories of your car selling days together.
Rest in Eternal Peace Tom you earned it!

Tom was a great man, respected by all that knew him! I did work for him in the car business and worked with his son many years ago. Whenever anyone in my family passed away Tommy was always there, he will be missed.
