I first met Bill when he was a teenager. I lived across the street from his Aunt Frieda. His cousin Paula was our babysitter. He came from wonderful people. They were all great role models as was Bill. We reconnected when I started working at RCSD in 1986. Bill was a kind, loving and caring man. He always had a smile and something cheerful to say. He loved his family and his friends and always had a hug if you needed one. My heart goes out to his family as this is a great lose to all. RIP, Billy.

I was saddened to hear that my cousin, Billy Griffo, passed away suddenly. I can remember the times when we were all young, running around "Uncle Franks" yard and being kids. Time certainly has a way of passing by and we all miss the time we have had together. We will miss you Billy.

I'm so sorry to hear about my cousin Billy Griffo passing away recently. I have so many fond memories of seeing Billy and his family at get-togethers in the 1960's and 1970's. Vividly etched in my memory are warm thoughts of spending time with his father Tom, mother Vinny, brother Jimmy, grandmother Connie, and girlfriend Francine at large Italian family events. Although my family moved to Oregon years ago, I've often looked back at those days positively.

One of my favorite memories of Bill was riding around with him as teenagers in the late 70's in his shiny Monte Carlo and listening to music with him in the basement of his parent's home. And like many have commented on, Bill's warm smile was always with him even then.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends at this difficult time.

I had the honor of being Bill's supervisor for the last 6 years or so. He was my right hand. I never had to worry about things when Bill was at the shop. He was the person that would calm me down when I became a little stressed. He always had a smile. We share the same sense of humor so we got along great.

We went to lunch every day together. We would talk about everything from work, politics, football and the thing that was most important to him...family. He was so proud of his two boys and adored his grandkids. There is a girl that waited on us a lot over the years that just had a baby. They would talk about her baby and Bill's grandkids everyday. He was a terrific guy and he will be missed here everyday.

I pray that God will pour out his grace and comfort on the family and those he loved. May you find peace and cherish the memories.

You can always tell where a beautiful soul has been by the tears and smiles left behind.
My heart goes out to Bill's family, but especially the special someone in his life, Barb.
Bill was an amazing man. I worked with him at the RCSD on many printing projects over the past 30 years. He always had a smile on his face and the patience of a saint. He had an amazing sense of humor. He was so proud of his boys and grandchildren and talked about them, often. Everyone loved Bill! He will be missed by all.

My deepest sympathies to Bill's boys and his family and loved ones. I worked with Bill in the print shop back in the mid 80's when I started working for RCSD. Bill was like a brother to me. He was a great story teller, and he loved to joke around and have fun. He could turn your bad day into a good one! Bill was a positive, happy-go-lucky person, with a great sense of what was important in life. So many people's hearts are aching over his losshe will truly be missed. May God's loving arms embrace the family at this difficult time.

Dear Griffo family:

When I heard the news, I was shocked and very, very sad. I've known Bill for over 25 years and have had business dealings via the Print Shop. Our paths would occasionally cross and he was ever so pleasant.

May he rest in peace. He will be missed and know that he was really well-liked by his RCSD family.

May you all be comforted during this very difficult time.

My sincerest sympathies to the family and friends of Bill. He was such a wonderful person to know and talk to. I have known him since coming to work for the District 19 years ago. It will be strange not seeing him at work. And stranger still, since I spoke to him about month ago, right before leaving on medical leave. He had the same sweet, smiling face as always, and a humbleness that is so rare in this world. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. May God be with all of you.

Bill, Bill, Bill, I am going to look at the picnic table outside of our office and you are not going to be there anymore. It's tough. You are certainly going to be missed. You were always with a smile and that dry sense of humor...

My deepest sympathy to Bill's family. Bill was a sweet, gentle soul who always made me laugh and he always had a kind word. I worked with Bill here at CO for many years and really missed him when he went over to the Service Center, but it was always fun to run into him, he always had a smile on his face and a hug for a friend. He was so proud of his boys and would speak of them often. Barb, I could tell from all the pictures how much he loved you and how special what you two had was. He will be greatly missed.
