I am SO saddened to have just learned of your loss. I surely would have attended the services for your dear husband/father/grandfather. Growing up as next door neighbors on Camden St. I have such wonderful memories of your family and "Mr Knapp". What a sweet wonderful man and how fortunate for you to have had him for so long. The tributes from his grandchildren speak for themselves as to how much he will be missed and how much he was loved. May he rest in God's loving arms and may God comfort you all until you are reunited in eternity. Love, Linda Weissinger Atkins

Jason and I visited your final earthly resting place. We were both saddened to hear of your passing.
I am disappointed to not be able to give you one last hug and tell you how much I love you. I never forgot about you. I never forgot the pride you had in the beautiful backyard garden which inspired my love of gardening. You always gave me some daffodils and lilacs to take home. I never forgot the sound of my feet as I ran back and forth on the vinyl runner on the front porch. I never forgot your unconditional love you gave to all of us, especially Grandma. You would often make her some tea in a mug from your ever growing collection and use some sugar from you McDonald's sugar pack collection. You always had a smile on your face and I'm sure you're smiling now with our Heavenly Father. Please save a spot for me, right next to you.

Grandpa I remember the times I was lucky enough to wake up to your cooking in the morning. It made me feel so special to get to sit and eat eggs and toast with you before school. You were always an inspiration to me and in my life I hope that I can be half the man you were, you were so loving and giving. I know now you will be looking over us and I hope what you see makes you proud and happy as you have always made me. Love Andre

We so much loved spending Christmas Eve with the family...as you adopted us in. And those lovingly made Christmas cookies were so much to look forward to. You are such a loving family! We thank you for your donations and love given to the children of our church. We are so grateful for your daughter, Joan and her wonderful kids, Jim and Jessica. They are an incredible refection of their earthly father, Bill and their Heavenly Father too. Your family is in our prayers. We pray especially for you, Gen, that the Lord will give you comfort and peace as you mourn the love of your life. We send our love to you all.

My Dearest Grandpa,
I was so glad to "sneak away" for the day and spend it with you and grandma in April. You said to me you had a good run and you did! I will miss you so much! I have so many fond memories of you and my children were so blessed to have you in their memories. I will never forget one night we (Jackie and I) spent at your house. Early in the morning I tried to creep down the stairs, thinking no one was awake~you were already downstairs in the kitchen and showed me how to make french toast. I still make it the same way. With all our love,

Papa Bill, You were such a wonderful, caring Grandfather. I will always cherish my memories of going to St. Ann's and taking the boat to Kingston on our vacations when Linda and I were little. We would stop at Ernie's and have french fries and vinegar. I hope to have those same fun trips and memories with my children. I always remember you giving me Marmalade on toast and Barley soup when I was sick. It didn't matter what holiday it was, you made your special sugar cookies and put so much love in them. I love you very much and was so blessed to have you in my life. Love your grand daughter, Nancy
