Suffolk, VA.: William J. Schlaffer, Sr. Age 79. Passed away March 5, 2010. He was born in Rochester, NY on March 27, 1930 to the late Joseph J. and Matilda O. Schlaffer. He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Grace B. Schlaffer. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sylvia A. Schlaffer; sons, William J. Jr. (Brenda), Charles F. (Beth); grandchildren, Lauren A. Schlaffer, Ward and Donald Harrington; sisters, Elizabeth Foti, Rosemary Tanski, Jane Wegman; 2 nieces; 8 nephews; He was a veteran in the Army and Navy.
A Graveside Service was held March 10th in Chuckatuck, VA.
