Melvyn Brittian Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial for Melvyn Jackson 'Jack' Brittian, Jr. age 73, of Muenster will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Rosary and vigil will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home in Muenster.
Jack was born on September 17, 1948 in Decatur to Melvyn Jackson, Sr. and Mable Margie (Gotcher) Brittian. He passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at his home in Muenster.
He is survived by his wife: Deborah Kay 'Debbie' (Felderhoff) Brittian; daughters: Melynda and husband Kent Rivers, Rachel Brittian, and Dyan and husband Tommy Huchton; sons: Bradley and wife Brandy Fisher, and Greg and wife Nova Fisher; grandchildren: Ashlyn and husband Kevin Craven, Makenna Rivers, Sophia, Emma, and Jackson Pentico, Dane, Dylan, and Debra Huchton, and Brittian Fisher; great grandchildren: Taylor and Allibelle Craven; in-laws: Janie and husband Mike Hennigan, Carol Klement, and Brenda Simpson; sisters: Jane Radlinski and Sheryl Pace; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Melvyn and Mable Brittian; and brother: Ron Brittian.

Jack was always such a nice guy. I'm sure Richard Fielder is picking him up in the cart right now taking him back to complete the PB rendition of the 3 Amigos ...I'm guessing they're all going in the same direction? Lol

I always looked forward to Wednesday´s when I would share the day with Jack. As we were the only two males in the Money Room as well as retirees, we shared a lot of stories about sports, grandkids, and the world in general. I miss him. My prayers to Debbie and the family. Rest In Peace, dear friend.

So sorry for his family. He spoke of them often. He always would tell me don't sweat the small stuff and it all small stuff. It May not seem like it but I was listening . Your friendship and boyish smile lit up our work place like no other you will be missed. To our bright shining star though your gone your light shines on. Love you and miss you .
