Scott was more a friend of my brother, Mandell, in high school. He said how kind & good he was. I got to know Scott later in life & for only a short while. I know the Angels welcome him.
With Sympathy,

BBQ or Mexican? The last text I sent you. We were supposed to have met for lunch or dinner just a bit ago. I was looking forward to karaoke at The Goat when this pandemic was over. You are greatly missed.
I will remember you everytime I hear Johnny Cash.

I met Scott in the Army National Guard when we were both students at UNT. He pledged Kappa Sigma where I was a member and we became close friends. He was a very large part of my life at UNT and I have so many fond memories of our times together. I remember one time in particular that is an example of his outgoing spirit. While still students at UNT Scott showed up at my apartment in the morning with 2 tickets to the Miss Texas Pageant in San Antonio that evening. He said we need to rent tuxedos and get on the road because it starts in 8 hours. Well we managed to pull it of and I attended my one and only beauty pageant. Experiences like this were normal with Scott, he loved life.
Scott was a great friend and fraternity brother that always had your back. He was tough as nails with a gentle soul. I’m a better man for knowing him.
