Verda Mae Clark Piott

Verda Mae Clark Piott, 91, passed away on January 5, 2022. She was born December 31, 1930 to John and Valera Barnes Clark. Verda graduated from Denton High School, married the love of her life, George Wendell Piott, and spent her entire life living in and loving Denton. She is survived by her daughter and family Wendy Piott Whitney, Ross Whitney and Annie Whitney Cates. She is also survived by her son and family John Piott, Christine Piott and Christopher Piott. She loved having 5 great grandchildren.

Verda worked alongside George in their Chevrolet dealership in Krum for many years. She loved her family fiercely and always enjoyed entertaining the ones she loved.

A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Saturday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m. Her special cousin, Wylie Koiner will direct the service. If so desired, donations may be made to the Michael J Fox Parkinson's Foundation in George Piott's name.
