Amelia DeAngelo Obituary

Amelia DeAngelo, 103 years old, a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at The Little Sisters of the Poor, Mullen Home in Denver. She was born on May 23, 1912, in Canon City, Fremont County, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Carmela Perna and her husband John DeAngelo. She is survived by sons John (Marjorie), Tom (Elaine), daughter Marlene Major (Ed), 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, sister Betty Stringari and sister-in-law Marie Perna and a large extended family. A Rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM on Wed., March 16th at The Little Sisters of the Poor Chapel, Mullen Home, at 29th and Lowell, Denver. Mass of the Resurrection 11:00 AM, on March 17, 2016 at St. Bernadette Church, 7240 W. 12th Ave., Lakewood. A reception will be held at the church after Mass. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery following the reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Amelia's name to Mullen Home, Little Sisters of the Poor, 3629 W. 29th Ave., Denver, CO 80211.
