Anne and I were sororiety sisters together "on line" at Virginia State College. And even though I have not seen her for many years, the bond of sisterhood and love continues. I am so saddened by her death. I will never forget her encouraging words, or her dedication to learning. Your family was so blessed to have had her in your lives.

Anne was the most wonderful Grandmother. She loved cooking special meals for each of her grandchildren----and she was an excellent cook. Akaysha, Zandreya, and Tremayne will miss those culinary delights. Anne always treated Tawni Gurney, Joe and Lauren Graff as her own grandchildren. She was very proud of the fine family Steve and Jessica have raised. We will all miss her sweet, sweet smile and loving ways.

I am going to miss laughing with and talking to you, Anne. I know we will meet again but until then meet me on the "mountain" for good luck. Still loving you like a sister.

Ann was a sister to me rather than a sister inlaw. I introduced Ann to my brother Abe when I was in High school. Ann was my Social Studies teacher and Abe was in the Airforce. I took his handsome picture to school one day to show off my brother and she saw his picture and wanted to meet him when he was home so that is what I did and they had a wonderful marrige and two great sons. I am going to really miss her and sharing of her recipes. She will always be in my greatest memories. She treated all of Abe's sisters like her own sister. We Loved you Ann.

To the cousin who taught us little cousins that life takes place outside the home. Into the thick of many crowded places she took us on excursions. One evening at DC's National Mall we experienced Peggy Lee singing "Fever". I'll hold Anne in fondness forever. Here's to a life well lived.
