Brett Becker Obituary

Brett Douglas Becker of Denver died unexpectedly on the morning of September 5, 2016. Brett was born in Littleton on September 8, 1990. He grew up in Jefferson County, attended Jeffco schools, and graduated from Heritage High School in 2009, with highest honors. He graduated from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business in 2013 with degrees in marketing and economics. Most recently, he worked as an editor for Event Networks Inc. in Highlands Ranch, after being promoted from his first role with the company as a marketing coordinator. Brett will be remembered for his infectious and charismatic personality. He was a caring, sensitive man who was loved by all he met. He had a passion for photography, videography, and other creative endeavors. He was a talented photographer and never without his camera, always prepared to capture the beautiful moments that he was given. Brett enjoyed outdoor sports, particularly skiing and bicycling, and loved to be outdoors with his close friends. Brett is survived by his father and mother Douglas J. and Barbara A. Becker of Littleton, his sisters Lauren Jaye Becker (engaged to Michael McMaster) and Allison Rose (Barrett), his two nieces Addison Rose and Charlotte Rose, and numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brett was an incredible and loyal son, brother, uncle, and friend who brought joy to all of those around him. He will be tremendously missed by all of those who love him and will live in our hearts forever. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Horan & McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Atonement Lutheran Church, 6281 West Yale Avenue in Lakewood.

Dearest Brett,
I miss you and think of you every day. Your family goes to a State Park every Labor Day in your honor...you so loved the outdoors...it only seems fitting and I know they are closer to you there! I pray to you daily and you have answered my prayers...especially in my greatest times of need. I especially feel you in beautiful sunsets...and when the random lightning bolts appear out of nowhere, I know you are with me. I love you Brettie...until we meet again...All My Love, Auntie J XOX
