Chance has been a dynamic and inspiring volunteer with our St Vincent's parish St Vincent de Paul Society. He was very quick to help those in need to find a way to help with whatever problem the help seeker might have. He often said that he was motivated by Christ's admonitions to see Christ Himself in those in need, as a means of saving his soul. Chance, you have certainly joined Him in that heavenly place.

Chance has been our friend besides doing our taxes since 1980. I want all his family to know this was a great guy and a great friend. Even after we moved to Calif he never lost touch with me. I am so happy that we have a gift from him to remember him by. The only thing I do not have is a recent picture so if the family will send me one when they can I would be most appreciatve and will hang it near the plate by Rockwell "Standing in the Doorway". Our address is martin and mary Mannason 5112 creekside Rd. Camarillo, cal 93012.
Chance you will be in our hearts forever and losing you is a big shock.
thanks for being our friend, that will always be more important than doing our income tax.
Love

Chance was an exceptional individual! He has been a presence at the 11:30 Mass @ SVDP. If he was not at the door to greet my daughter Dixi and me something was not right. I fear this Sunday will be so sad to go to Mass and not have our weekly visit with Chance. He was amazing in his work for the SVDP society. I knew his mom Michaela long before I knew Chance. She was an inspiration to me, a true woman of faith. I was saddened when she passed but know she must have a high place in heaven and thrilled to see her son Chance at home with her. Chance spent his birthday evening with Dixi and me for dinner and conversation this past yr, helped me get things picked up for the SVDP society @ Thanksgiving and always had a smile and laugh, a loud one, for us. I will truly miss him and considered him a friend. He was a yr. ahead of me @ South High School but I came to know him through his work @ church. He was a good man with a kind heart and was deeply committed to helping the less fortunate. He will be greatly missed. To you Chance I say, well done good and faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ .
