1928 ~ 2012
Born 9/20/28, Denver, CO. Graduated from East H.S. in Denver. Served in US Army for 2 years during the Korean Conflict. Married Beverly Stromstad, 4/11/54. Founded BlueBird International in 1960 with Carl Kruger. The firm manufactured powered lawn equipment and hydraulically operated engine lifts. By the time the company was sold, products were distributed in all 50 states and 17 foreign countries. Husband of Beverly. Two children; Cynthia (Terry) Jensen & Mark (Michael DeNisco) Zehrung. 6 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by sister, Patricia Wegner. Memorial Service Saturday, 3 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Donations suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children, YMCA Southwest Branch Denver or Bethany Lutheran Church in Cherry Hills.
