HUBBARD, Donald James Donald James "Donnie" Hubbard, 52, Denver. Father of Trichelle Pettis; son of Kathryn Hubbard; brother of Derek Hubbard; and grandson of Ruby Peyton. One grandchild and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church, 1780 Xanthia St. To Hampden Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Monday, 4-7 p.m., Taylor Mortuary.

Dear Mrs., Kathleen Hubbard, please accept my deepest sorrow for the loss of Donnie. He and I were friends prior to your move to east Denver many years ago. Maybe you might remember a little kid you and your mother were kind enough to provide some clothing for a day and a wonderful day at a picnic. Your kindness sent my life on a trajectory of success. You may have lost one son but gained one in me. Thank you for you kindness. Sincerely yours.

I am saddened that I never had the chance to meet Donnie, but just by knowing his beautiful daughter Trichelle, I know he was a special man. My prayers are with all of you. Michelle Logan & Family
