You taught ME so much about life in The Big Easy. You are on my mind tonight and I miss being goofy with my friend.. CO

Will miss you Efrain and I cherish the time spent with you as well as what I learned from you. I am a better photographer and person because of you.

Efrain told me to not be afraid to venture off by myself down by the river...I trusted his words and came away with this photo. Thank you Efrain!

Efrain had such a kind and open heart and his love for teaching showed in each and every class I took from him. We became friends, talking about New Orleans, food, dreams and life. I thank you ever so much for all that you taught me and all your other students. I will miss you on the night walks but know you will always be there in spirit guiding us to find that image that is ours to share with the world. RIP Efrain!

Efrain was a marvelous instructor, and I thank him daily for teaching me how to use a digital camera system. I was shocked and saddened to see his name in the obituaries.

I thought I knew how a camera worked and the basics of photography but it was with a friends recommendation I try a class on the basics of photography. The teacher of the class was Efrain and with that one class my photography as well as self confidence in my work grew. Efrain did not just show me on how the camera operated but how I could be a part of the camera, with that I am forever greatful to have him as part of the people I have known in my life. Efrain you were a teacher of photography but also life as well, and for that I'll never forget you. Thank you.

Efrain I just want to thank you for the gift you gave us a teacher, as well as an excellent photographer. I see the world a lot differently because of what you taught me in the classes I took from you and for that I am forever greatful.
