Ernest L. Ransom

RANSOM, ERNEST L. Born Jan. 3, 1924. Died Dec. 30, 2003. Ernie had great passion for music, race cars, and friends. No one had greater passion for the music of the Big Band and especially the music of Glenn Miller. Ernie devoted many hours to getting copies of music and history of all of Glenn Millers music to the Glenn Miller Ballroom at the University of Colorado, making sure that they had all of the Glenn Miller archives complete and accurate. Ernie made friends where ever he went. We will all miss Ernies unique grumbly voice and his childlike laughter. You DID belong on this earth and in this life Ernie and we will all miss you!
