Kathy,

None of us can know the pain you are going through today. I only hope that in the months and years to come celebrating Garys life will ease your sorrow.

Know that your friends would love to help you in any way possible. If getting away would comfort you our apartment is always open and your welcome to use it whenever you would like. I find the mountains calming and would love to share some time with you.

Just want to extend my condolences to your family. I worked with Gary at Denver Mortgage Funding in the early 90's. He taught me a lot about the mortgage business. He was also a hoot to converse with.

One other thing; he was my best mountain bike customer!! My cousin owns a bicycle shop in Des Moines and I would get special discount prices. I think Gary bought 5 or 6 bikes from my cousin.

He was a good friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

It has been many years since I last saw Gary, as I moved to Florida 15 yrs. ago. Gary was instrumental in

my career, as my boss at Alpert Homes. What a loss. My sympathies to his family.

Gary gone?! It doesn't seem possible. How can it be that we'll never see that "silver fox" at Starbucks again? We instinctively look for his car in his usual parking spot. We look for him at the table outside. We look for him walking down Filmore...and Gary's not there...and won't be. How can that be? The Starbucks gang misses him terribly...it will never be the same. G-D bless Gary and his family.

It was the mid ‘60s and for whatever reason I was at Uncle Benny’s furniture store in West Denver. Gary took me for a ride in his Corvette Stingray. To a dweeb kid like me at the time he was a god. I wanted to be that cool sometime!

Now it’s 2006 and I just heard the news and I just picture riding in that car with him so long ago.

Sylvia, Kathy, Susie, Brenda, I hope you find peace in all the good memories we have.

Love

Mark
