Bob Mester, my husband and I were stationed with George at Ft Devens, MA, in the mid-70's. They were both in Special Forces at the time and I was in one of the medical units. We went to Germany and when our first son was born, we asked George to be his Godfather. He agreed and thru the years we've tried to stay in contact. We are very sorry for your loss. George was a fine soldier and an amazing man. Our thoughts & prayers are with you. Eleanor Mester

Dorothee and Family,
I had the privilege of working with George for six years; he was a kind, funny team leader who supported staff and brought many smiles to the office. I'm so glad I got to know him. My sympathies to you all.

Dorothee and Family, I am so sorry to hear of George passing away. May you all receive comfort that George served our country, our local law enforcement, keeping us all safe. Dorothee, our time together during one of George's illnesses will not be forgotten. You are a very brave woman. May the Lords peace be with you.
