Glenn Baird Obituary
November 29, 1950 - June 9, 2023
Glenn Doyle Baird, 72, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on June 9th, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Glenn was born November 29, 1950 in Boise, Idaho, to Miriam and Doyle Baird. Shortly after Glenn's birth, the family moved to Denver, Colorado.
Glenn attended Slavens Elementary School and Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver, followed by graduating from Denver Country Day. He then graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He enjoyed his career as an electrical engineer prior to his retirement. He proudly completed his second undergraduate degree in Psychology at Metropolitan State University in Denver following his retirement.
Glenn was a quiet man, dedicated to his spiritual growth. He loved attending services at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, Colorado, attending on-line through COVID. He was an avid aeronaut, building several model airplanes and flying them at Chatfield Reservoir. He was also a lover of sports cars, having owned several since his first car, an MGB.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa Neeper and grandson Bradley Neeper, both of Denver, CO, and his sister Linda Baird of Lakewood, CO. Glenn was preceded in death by his brother Lawrence Alan Baird, mother Miriam Jester Baird, and father Doyle Hass Baird.
A memorial service will be held at Mile Hi Church in Lakewood, CO on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1 pm. Contributions can be made to Mile Hi Church, Lakewood, CO in Glenn's memory.

Glenn was a quiet neighbor but very friendly guy when you once got to know him. He enjoyed his daily walks each day until his health issues took over.
Once in awhile on his walks returning home and I was outside we would have some long conversations. The same if we were both doing yard work & stopped to talk. The later conversations touched on cancer & its impact on life.
Glenn Rest in Peace!
