Hans Bieber Obituary
Dec. 7, 1928 - July 20, 2022
Hans Bieber passed away peacefully on July 20th at Collier Hospice. Hans was a gentle and caring man who was loved by all, friends and family.
Hans is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his children; Silvia (Edward), Fred(Yvette), Doris(Pat) and Katie(Andy),his sister Helga Meng, his brother Horst (in Germany),
one grandchild Elena(Greg) and one great-grandchild Geoffrey, and many nieces and nephews both here and in Germany.
Hans was born in Niederaula Germany on Dec. 7, 1928. His childhood and early teens were spent in war torn Germany including his conscription into the army at 14. Post war he worked for the US Army providing translation services during the rebuilding process. He then earned his master license as a painter.
While in Germany, Hans married his wife Lena and they had their first child Silvia. In 1955 they left Germany for the US in Denver, Co. Hans joined the painter's union and continued his chosen profession until retirement. Hans and Lena had their 3 younger children here in Denver as natural US citizens.
After Lena died at an early age, Hans met Elizabeth Marranzino; they married in 1975.
There will be a celebration of life honoring Hans at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 3549 Navajo St., August 2nd at 11:00am followed by a reception at the church hall..

Hans lovingly escorted my Dad to McDonald´s and then they explored Western Colorado. Sometimes they went fishing! They had a most beautiful friendship. Sue Maisch

I feel so very blessed to have been chosen by Hans and Liz to be their physician for many of the last several years. It is not often that a patient makes an indelible impression on your heart but Hans definitely made one on mine. He was such a kind, courageous and thoughtful soul. I am sending my love to you, Liz, in this time of sorrow.
