Construction Expert Witness
Harold Edward (Hal) Buddemeyer Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home in Littleton, Colorado on January 11, 2022 after a brief illness. He was 75.
Hal grew up in Colorado. He graduated from Sheridan High School and attended the Colorado School of Mines.
He went on to enjoy a successful career in the construction industry. In the 1970s and early 1980s, Hal worked for Harrison Western Corp. and later Tosco Corp. For the last 38 years, Hal worked as a testifying expert for Colorado-based construction claims firms including the Holloway Consulting Group, and Long International, Inc.
Hal was a confidante and trusted friend with many wonderful qualities. He was compassionate and generous with a keen intellect and marvelous sense of humor. He liked most sports and was a passionate Broncos fan. He loved to hunt and fish, and collect cars, stamps, and coins. He enjoyed traveling and Scotch whiskey, and loved his steak "Pittsburgh Style."
He had many friends who enjoyed his company and friendship, and we will miss him dearly. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and all those who loved him.
The viewing was held at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, Thornton, CO. Hal has been cremated.

I was just informed about the passing of Buddemeyer. Mr. Hal was my brother-in-law. He was married to my late husband, Bill Bickham's beautiful sister Pam. Hal was always so much fun to be around to enjoy his quick wit and always a kind word. Rest in peace!!!
Maybe some day we will go fly fishing.

Hal is deeply missed by many at Long International. Hal was not only a consultant but a close friend, like family to us. We offer prayers and condolences to Hal's family and friends during this difficult time.
