ARTHUR, HELEN Helen Arthur, widow of John S. Arthur, previously widow of Stephen Danos, was born February 2, 1914 and died November 18, 2010. She was a WW2 veteran of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, a past president of the New Orleans Philharmonic Society, a long-term member of the Metairie Garden Club, and a member of the PEO in New Orleans. A long-time resident of New Orleans, she moved to Denver, Colorado, after Hurricane Katrina. She was a lady of grace and beauty who will be missed by her family. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela D. Wiegand, her three grand-children, Stephen B. Garrett, Kelly G. Inmann, and Julianna W. Iacovone, and her five great-grandchildren. Services and interment will be at Fairmount Mausoleum Chapel, Denver, at 11:30 am on Wednesday, November 24. No flowers. Memorial gifts may be sent to the Assistance League of Denver Endowment.
