BRAINERD, HELEN S. (BEBB)
Helen Brainerd, 77, of Cherry Hills Village, passed away March 18th. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frank J. Brainerd; her children, Stephen (and his wife, Betsy), Sally (and her husband, Jack Snow), and Susan Brainerd; and her grandchildren, Jackson, Emma, and Lucy Brainerd and Nell Snow. Helen was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, was a graduate of Wellesley College in Boston, and became one of the most highly regarded watercolor artists in the Rocky Mountain region. She was actively involved with The Salvation Army Auxiliary, PEO, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Colorado Water Color Society, and the Park Hill Art Club. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 26, 3:00 p.m., at Park Hill United Methodist Church, 5209 Montview Blvd., Denver, CO, 80230. DUE TO THE WEATHER, THE MEMORIAL SERVICE WAS POSTPONED. INSTEAD, IT WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, MARCH 28, 1:30 PM AT PARK HILL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.

Dear Frank and Family,
Jan Kostro called to relay the sad news of
Helen's death. Although it has been many years since we lived in Denver, we still
have fond memories of the good times we
enjoyed with you and other friends back
when we were young. We hurt for you at this most difficult time, but the day will come when sadness gives way to memories of happier times. Until then, we want you to know our thoughts are with
