It is a huge disappointment to find this obituary notice. I had talked to Hugh not long before his passing and had told him I would arrange a get-to-gether with another old friend and classmate from Sidney, Nebr. I have a children's book that his mother Thelma illustrated and sent to me when my first daughter was born. I would like to return it to the family. Hugh grew up in Sidney and his family and my family were very close friends. I would like to contact a family member if possible.

About 1959-60 Hugh bought into HVAC mechanical business, he was my boss for a while, he used to drive me to service calls in his Covet convertible which made the customers a little worried about the price.
We had some good old Friday night poker party's at his house in Aurora.
We bought a motor boat, motor, water skies, boat trailer, and all the equipment together for $125.
Hugh took me to, Young republicans party's with him several time.
We were very good friends fifty some years ago.
Rest in Peace Hugh until we meet again.

Lance and Lisa, I can't tell you how sorry I am to learn of Hugh's passing. He was a very strong guy and fought the fight harder and longer than most people would have. The only consolation now is that he is at rest and is no longer suffering. Even though I can't be there tomorrow you and your families will be in my thoughts and prayers. Anne-Marie the boys and I will stay after church Sunday and light a candle in memory of him. They know I spent a lot of my life in Colorado and want to see and know everything about it. Hopefully we will make it out this summer to see you. I have so many wonderful memories of you all and often think of them. They were such good times! Stay strong especially for the grand kids and always keep the faith. As long as you have the memory of Hugh in your thoughts and heart he will always be with you. Your friend Mully
