I worked with Jim for the past 10 years or so in Las Vegas. Jim was known to all of us as a very kind and gentle man and a man of integrity; as well as a brilliant professional whos' work on Lake Mead and the Las Vegas Wash was critical to our mission.
We will all miss Jim and are so sorry for your loss.

Carol, Jennifer and James. Mitzi and I still have a hard time believing that Jimmy is gone. We know there is no way or anything that we can say to help you through this. We know you will find comfort in your family being together and knowing that a lot of your friends are with you in thought and prayer. Bill is thinking of you and will deeply miss Jim. I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We are all very shocked. He was a great person and I enjoyed seeing him during his visits. I have fond memories of him from my childhood, especially of going to Valleyfair with Jennifer:) I am sorry we will not be able to be with you all in person for the memorial, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you as we all mourn Jim.

Love, Tammy (LaBounty) Ott

Carol-
I'm sorry to hear of cousin Jim's passing. I enjoyed seeing both of you so much during your recent visits to Minnesota.
I tried to make arrangements to attend the services, but with the busy season in my work, they did not line up
Jim was such a kind and caring man. There was a calm about him that I recall from both of his parents. I will miss him! My condolences to you and your family.

Carol and family-
I was saddened to hear of your sudden loss. Shocked really. We had been corresponding over the last year via email and it was something I rather enjoyed. I regret to inform you that I will not be able to be present for his memorial, but please notify us if you do in fact hold an additional service in nevada this year. Know that I will miss Jim as the persistent cheerleader in my corner. I sympathize with your pain and wish it wasn't so. Take care and please keep in touch.
Love,
Heather Oman
