Jason Mowry Obituary

Jason Russel Mowry, 52 of Morrison, Colorado passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Jason was preceded in death by his father, William Lawrence Mowry and his step-father Daniel T. Smith. Jason is survived by his wife of 25 years, Christine Holmberg Mowry and their two sons, Maxwell Gregory and Mitchell James ; his mother Jayne Mowry Smith of Englewood; his brother and sister-in-law Brooks and Courtney Mowry, and their children Ainsley, Zane and Ronan of Arvada as well as step-siblings Christine Miller and Scott Hurlock.
Jason was born April 25, 1969 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Colorado and received his BS in Economics and Environmental Science from UC Boulder. Jason was Vice President of Construction Services for SDA, Inc.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Willow Ridge Manor in Morrison on Sunday, April 3rd at 2:00pm.

I am the sister of Jason's step-father Daniel Smith. While I have enjoyed and shared many Christmases in Denver with Jason and his extended family, the pandemic brought Jason's deep goodness to me. In 2020 he sent me a full Thanksgiving dinner and remembered me at Christmas each year of the pandemic with a science book! This dear man was "in tune" with his 75 year old step-aunt! His goodness will inspire me as long as I am alive.

I had the opportunity to work with Jason on a project in Minnesota. His humanity and professionalism set him apart from his peers. It was truly sad and shocking to learn about his passing. He talked lovingly about his family and friends and I will miss being able to share stories of inspirations and frustrations with him.
