Recollecting moments in the presence of this great woman and teacher. I remember the day I met with her after she returned from Africa on her missionary journey. She was radiant as a setting sun and full of stories of her travels and experiences. I exchanged healing therapy with her and photographed her, later sending the portrait of her I had taken in a frame as a gift. I will never forget her warm smile and how she made me feel like a true friend. I was so fortunate to have been her friend.
Condolences to her son, George. There is nothing as comforting as "mother's love."

Dr. Rucker and my mother, Iva Lois Wiggins, were close friends for years. My mother accompanied Dr. Rucker for many performances. I am going through my mother's music and ran across sheet music with Dr. Rucker's signature. I have nothing but beautiful memories of the two of them. I'm happy that they have been reunited in heaven. My heart is with the family.

Miss Jenny was a light that shined Along my path as I attended the community college of Denver. She became a family friend whose love was over pouring and very comforting. It was so wonderful to see her doing so well just 4 years ago She was a true inspiration to many. I will never forget her sweet smile and warm embrace. She'll be singing in the heavens forever.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Dr. Rucker lived on the same floor at Sunrise as my mother. I always enjoyed my conversations with her as she told me about her colorful life. She entertained the residents while she often read from some of her books. She went to several of the Shabbat services at Sunrise, not because she was Jewish but because she wanted to learn about Judaism. Dr. Rucker was an exceptional woman and I send my condolences to her family.
