To the Family of Jerry Ring,
Please accept my condolences and empathy over the loss of Jerry Ring, whom I knew as a colleague at Metropolitan State College of Denver where I knew him and grew to respect and admire his work as an Historian and as a man devoted to God and his family. His loss is not only a loss to his family, but to his family of God and man on earth. May the Angels escort him to paradise to bask in the presence of the Lord Jesus with the Father and Holy Spirit in the Triune Magnificence of God.
Love in Christ,
Joseph G. Sandoval

Having taught history in the same department as Jerry for decades, I will miss his delightful sense of humor and will continue to admire the way he upheld high standards without suffering any loss of popularity with his many students. I grieve for him along with his family, his many friends and his other colleagues We will all miss him.

During more than three decades at Metropolitan State Jerry touched the lives of thousands of students. His passion for history made him an outstanding teacher and his sense of humor and ability to draw a quick cartoon were talents that enlivened his lectures.

He was a great friend who will be missed.
