My mother, Betty lived at Canterbury Garden and I met Jesse there a number of years ago. My mom use to love to visit him and walk his dog when Jesse was to ill or in the hospital.
She said that she had never met anyone who could train a dog like Jesse could.
Jesse was great to talk and loved to tell stories of his military activities and so proud to have been in the service.
My mom was so upset this morning when she read in the paper of his death. Even though she had not seen him in sometime she always felt close to him. Certainly this is quite a loss for you and others that have enjoyed his company over the years.
