Jimmie Lee Pribble, 86, passed away July 27 with his family by his side. Jimmie was born in Jonesboro, IL to Mabel and James Pribble. He graduated from Anna-Jonesboro High School where he was on the football and baseball teams. He then completed his B.S. degree in forestry at the University of Missouri and joined Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. It was there he met his wife, Nancy Trump. After graduation he went to work for the Bureau of Land Management and was assigned to the Coos Bay, OR office. From there he worked at the offices in Dillon, MT, Belle Fourche, SD, Burley, ID, and then to Lakewood in 1987 where he retired in 1993. Next he worked at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood on the maintenance crew and loved being outdoors. He retired in 2014. He enjoyed golfing, bicycling, hiking, skiing and playing bridge. For many years he raised and trained black Labradors for hunting.
Jimmie is survived by his wife of 61 years, daughters Robin Raymond (John) of Sanford, FL; Penny Behr (Andy) of Littleton, CO; and son Jay Pribble (Joslyn) of Grand Prairie, TX; granddaughters Madeline Behr, New Orleans, LA; and Veronica Behr, Austin, TX.
