May 12, 1945 - April 9, 2022
John "Jack" Craiger passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, April 9. He was enjoying watching his Rockies' opening day game with Tina by his side when his heart just gave out. Jack was born in San Diego on May 12, 1945, to Susan and John Craiger. He met his beloved Tina in a Montgomery Wards there and were married in San Diego on June 19, 1971 and they joyfully celebrated 50 years of marriage last year. Jack graduated San Diego State University in 1971, spent a brief stint in the US Army Reserves before being accepted into the dental school at Georgetown University. Jack and Tina relocated to Denver where he practiced for 40 years.
He is survived by Tina; his children, John Craiger (wife Emily) and Kelly Jobman (husband Craig); John's children, Johno and Audrey; Kelly's children, Bella, Gracie and Lucy. Jack was passionate about dentistry, hunting, sporting clays, his garage, Tina, and above all his children and oh so precious grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, at Castle Oaks Covenant Church, Castle Rock, Colorado, at 10:00 a.m. There will be a gathering after the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be given to Castle Oaks Covenant Church. Jack requests six Colorado Rockies baseball players to serve as pall bearers so that they may let him down one last time.

I worked with Dr. Craiger right out of Dental Assisting School when he first started practicing with Dr. Davidson, I have always thought highly of him and always thought of him over the years, I am truly sorry for your loss, Tina I'm not sure if you remember us, but we even baby sat little John when you and Jack went skiing. Jack and I shared our dental building for many years. So many fond memories of Jack and your family. We shared many celebrations together with your family. I am so saddened by his untimely passing. Bless Tina and your family. Look forward to reuniting this Saturday.
