Dear Josh, here it is your birthday, the day has been so sad thinking of all the birthdays before and what we did together. Your Dad and I miss you so very much! We love you the same today as we always did. We wish so much that you were still with us. We think of you everyday sometimes every minute. I hope we are living our lives the way you would want us too. We are trying so very hard to go on without you. Knowing full well we will see you again. Happy birthday to you my dear Joshua. Love Mom and Dad

To All Our Sons Friends, and Family,I just want to say Josh Was Very Fortunate to have so many who loved him as are we. We cant understand why this happenend but we know the incredible young man we loved could never of done this to hurt any of us. He was the most loving, compassionate ,fun loving, man and always was even as a small child he would do special stuff like bring me a flower out of the garden or want to go hunt for rocks with his Dad. He was also a jokester and loved playing pranks on his older sister. And he loved playing with his nephew George . I cant tell you how much we will miss him it is a struggle to go to bed at night and to get up the next day without him in it. We keep thinking it has got to be a terrible nightmare then you realize it is not. Thank you for your Love and Compassion it is what helps to sustain us.We hope his memory stays alive in you. With that he never truly leaves us. Sincerely Cindy and Joe Elledge

To all of the friends of our son Joshua. Josh was the best son a mother and father could of ever wanted, he was loving ,caring ,funny, generous, compassionate to others always worried if everyone was having a good time. If you were a hunter that made him the happiest that meant you got to go to the forty his own hunters paradise ,he loved taking people down there to let them share in his love of the outdoors. He also loved to go mud bogging, partying with his friends ,camping four wheeling, you name it he did it . Joe and I dont know what his last hours of life were like, we will never know .There are hopefully only two people who know the answer to that question Joe and I someday know that we will be with him and the answer will be clear. For those of you who knew Josh know what was bothering him over the last couple of months . We do know that our son who loved us ,his nephew George and his sister Amanda, his uncle Rich and all of those friends he left behind, he would never of done that to hurt anyone of us.The only thing we can tell all of you is just remember him the last time you talked to him or seen him, hunted with him or worked with him that is what he would of wanted . Joe and I can not express the outpouring of love and compassion that has been showererd on us from everyone he touched. That means so much to us. To everyone who worked with Josh I hope you all know how he loved his jobs at Aggregate, La Farge, and especially at Albert Freis because you guys made his dream come true and let him drive the haul truck which was what he wanted to do ever since he was a little boy, as his Mom I can never thank you enough for that. He was so proud of himself for that. Thank you also to everyone who attended his service and helped out with it we could not of gotten thru it all without the love and support of everyone. May God Bless Each and Everyone who was his friends. Thank You Sincerely Cindy and Joe Elledge.

Joshy,
I miss you so much! My thoughts and prayers go out to your family during this very difficult time. I will always remember the stories you would tell me to cheer me or just to make me smile. You were and always will be my bestest guy friend in the whole wide world ever! I can honestly say that no one can ever fill your shoes! This is not a goodbye, instead, till me meet again....
I love you babe!

Elledge Family-
Even though we are far away, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Josh was a very special person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Just think of the numerous fishing adventures you all went on, it is times like those he would want you to remember.

Here you were with me not even a week ago driving though winter park. Enjoying what it had to offer. Smiling, talking, and planning our future! On our way home you told me you had something special planned for valentines day. Now i lay awake at night talking to you knowing that you are there with me but in all reality your not. I know what was going to happen on valentines day! I guess now you know what my answer would have been! Knowing that i CANT be with you as they lay you to rest. Now I say good bye in my heart and in my mind. I LOVE YOU JOSH!! I'll see you soon!
