Karen and I were part of the faculty that opened what was then Place Jr. High School. We spend a decade there. While we went to separated schools, we maintained a friendship and shared a political philosophy via email. I will miss her wit, her intelligence and will always recall the warm and good times and the FAC's. May she rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the family of Karen Kellogg Fain. I haven't seen her since college when we shared rides from CSU, but remember her as a lovely girl and good friend. A special message to Howard, my buddy and fellow prankster whose presence was always welcome in our home on Grand Ave. in Pueblo where we all grew up. So very sorry, Howie.
