To the special family of this beloved man, my heartfelt thoughts of love and compassion are with you.
Ken spread throughout the world the positive messages of self awareness, hope, compassion, faith, and most of all, love.
I will never forget how he has touched my life over the past 24 years, and all that I learned from him will help sustain me for the rest of my life.
I met him in Evergreen in 1981 when I was going through a very difficult time. He literally transformed my entire life, and I know that is true for thousands and thousands of others.
We remained friends from that time forward and keeping up with all his endeavors was almost an impossible task. I have never met anyone like him - his energy, drive, compassion and inquisitive nature about anything and everything life had to offer.
His entire family was the joy of his life, and I want to thank all of you for allowing us to share in his memory.
With love,
Laura Lee Lamothe

My sincerest condolences to the Magid family.
Dr. Magid typed to me in an email earlier this year, "Circulating love is the only way to truly live." His words have certainly impacted my life and shall continue to do so.
I was a student at Metropolitan State College of Denver and in several of Dr. Magid's courses in the late 1980's. I have utilized many of his teaching to improve my connection to the world. He always had a way of making you feel like you could do anything. What an incredible spirit!
His last email to me in July stated the he was working on a "really exciting study of how love and happiness can make better physicians" and he'd asked for contact information from UCDHSC-SON where I am employed. He made me feel part of this excitement and that is what I'll miss about him most. His ability to make you feel connected was a great asset to all whom he touched.
Again I offer my sincerest condolences to the Magid family. He always raved about the successes of his boys in the 1980 and in 2005 made it clear to me that his three MEN were very special and made him very proud. His love for you was evident in every thing he did and said.
God Bless Each of the Magid Family.
