Beloved Family:
I will sorely miss Kurt. I loved him very much. He always had a smile and hug for me whenever we saw each other.
I left Denver the day after his passing, that is why I have not been in touch.
I miss you all very much and you are in my prayers (always!!!)
Much Love,
Elizabeth

I watched Kurt grow for a time, while he was one of two best friends of my son Aaron Williams, the other friend is Cameron Ponds.
I found Kurt to be the backbone, of the three, and a standup guy. I saw him keep Aaron and Cameron grounded. When Aaron would get in trouble with me, Kurt would talk me out of anger with him, and tell Aaron to "knock it off, stop getting his mom angry". I looked for Kurt and Cameron last month to surprise Aaron for his 21st, and was saddened when they could not show, but sent their LOVE. And now it is only fitting that I along with the rest of my family that were blessed with having met this wonderful and dynamic kid, we send our PRAYERS, and LOVE to all of you. PEACE and BLESSINGS

Kurt was the best cousin any one could have. We grew up together and I will always cherish the memories that we have. Even when I moved when I saw he always would let me know that he loved me. That was important to him that he always let his family know that he loved him. He will be truly missed

KURT WAS LIKE SUNSHINE TO EVERYONE THAT HE KNEW. HE WAS MY NEPHEW AND I WILL MISS HIM ALOT. HE ALWAYS GAVE ME A HUG AND KISS EVERYTIME WE SAW EACH OTHER AT HOME OR ANYWHERE ON THE STREET. I KNOW THAT GOD HAS A REASON FOR TAKING HIM AWAY SO EARLY IN HIS LIFE. MY NEPHEW IS IN A BETTER PLACE. HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

LK was a wonderful person. He was funny, laid, back, and just a cool person to be around. My son really took a liking to him when he was first born. He would have been in amazement to see how much he has grown. I will miss him. He was a wonderful person that should still be here. I know he is in a better place because he was one of the better people.

Kurt was a very nice and funny person. He was always making somebody laugh. From what I could see in high school, he always had his family's back. My condolences go out to his family. He will be greatly missed by all.
